Dylan Fugate is a 8 year old go-kart racer from Carmel, IN. His goal is to become a professional race car driver. Dylan fell in love with racing when IndyCar finally aired the Indy 500 in Indianapolis for the 100th running in 2016 and his love for auto racing has not diminished since then.
Dylan began karting in 2018 at the C-Tech Manufacturing Motorplex at Road America in the Karts Unlimited Kid Karts Class of the Road America Karting Club. We battled against inexperience and facing stronger engines in 2018 and took our lumps but learned from them and came out stronger for 2019. In 2019 Dylan raced against great competition at Whiteland Raceway Park in Whiteland, IN. It was a great experience and a great community of racing families.
Dylan raced kid karts until 2020 where his family decided its was in his best interest to join a team and have access to coachin, data and video analysis. After talking to many teams we decided to race with Franklin Motorsports out of Wisconsin. We will be racing at Badger Kart Club, the C-Tech Manufacturing Motorplex at Road America and in the Route 66 Series with some stops hopefully at Whiteland and New Castle. Dylan will put racing first this year and continue to play for Indiana Fire Juniors for soccer and Carmel Pups for basketball.
